That Lonesome Sound (previously known as The Thirteenth Son) was founded in the year of 2004 in Oslo, when two old musical companions found each other in a new way, through a mutual interest in country and folk music. The idea was to create our own special brand of country-music using influences from various sources, ranging from old blues, gospel and bluegrass, to more contemporary country and folk music. From our humble beginnings and through trials and errors we have developed a sound, which incorporates many of the features of our inspirational sources, but as you can hear, it is done with our own unique approach. ….
